About
Espresso in the Clouds will be filled with musical rapture and film motifs, allowing you to drift among the clouds on an early Sunday afternoon with the melodies of two legendary composers, Philip Glass and Joe Hisaishi. The quartet by the American minimalist, inspired by the music from the film Mishima, will be paired with one of the most beautiful cinematic themes, a delicate waltz from Howl’s Moving Castle.
The chamber musicians of Sinfonietta Cracovia will perform this program at the Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków, surrounded by an extraordinary exhibition of flying machines. We invite you to enjoy chamber music with coffee—your ticket to Espresso in the Clouds also includes access to the permanent exhibition in the main building of the Polish Aviation Museum, which is a co-organizer of the concert.
The musical program will be accompanied by a discussion with Dr. hab. Krzysztof Mroczkowski, Deputy Director for Research at the museum.
