About
The ambiance of this concert will enable us to find peace in the soothing sound of strings. The “Soundtrack of zen” promises an encounter with the music of two artists imbued with Eastern spirituality, as well as a programme which combines the world of Japanese inspirations and Far East sound in a concert featuring the music of Krakow-based composer Marcel Chyrzyński (in the vein of ukiyo-e painting 浮世絵) and Tan Dun—the composer of film music, including the score for “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”. Sinfonietta Cracovia will perform his “Crouching Tiger Concerto” conducted by Katarzyna Tomala-Jedynak, with the participation of an eminent cellist Marcin Zdunik.
