In mid-November, at the special invitation of Sinfonietta Cracovia, Patrick Doyle, one of the most acclaimed film music composers in Hollywood, is coming to Krakow. The two-time Oscar-nominated artist has worked with directors such as Kenneth Brannagh, Ang Lee and Brian De Palma. During the concert at the Krakow Philharmonic on 16.11 Sinfonietta Cracovia will perform Doyle's most famous film themes, including an excerpt from the soundtrack to the film 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire'. However, that is not all - the concert programme will also include the world premiere of the 'Piano Fantasy', a non-film work by the composer. The meeting with the composer on the eve of the concert will therefore be an opportunity to talk about the blending of musical worlds, the behind-the-scenes work on the soundtrack and the most exciting transformations of film music. The discussion will be hosted by film expert Krzysztof Siwoń.Free tickets can be purchased at https://kbfbilety.krakow.pl/.
