Little Sinfonietta for Christmas | family concert

Just before Christmas join us for the last concert of the Krakow orchestra this year dedicated not only to the youngest music lovers, but their whole families – Little Sinfonietta for Christmas.

Dancing along to the “Samba on Bottles” from the film Tylko mnie kochaj, we will enter the atmosphere of the holidays and the rom-coms that, after all, match this season especially well. With the sound of bells, in the company of young percussionists, we will create a joyful atmosphere which will make it easier for children to access the world of music.

The concert programme, including non-musical events and Christmas surprises, is an intergenerational offering that surely both the youngest listeners and their guardians will enjoy. The concert will be hosted by RMF Classic journalist Urszula Urzędowska, a figure very familiar to the attendees of the previous events in the Little Sinfonietta series.

The Little Sinfonietta is a series of musical meetings for the youngest listeners. Each event develops children’s passion for music and strengthens patterns of participating in culture and co-creating it. Each event combines the concert formula with games developing musical ear and sensibility.

The Orchestra collaborates with Krakow ensembles composed of young artists, and with charities. The performances are held in unique venues, from open air ones, to cultural centres and schools, to beautiful concert halls.
